The Color of Now is proud to partner with local arts organizations
to craft and host talk backs.
What's a talk back, you ask? Well, a talk back (also called a post-show discussion) is when audience members stick around after a play, production, concert, or other artistic presentation to have a guided discussion about the themes that were brought up in the art we all just experienced together.
We facilitate talk back discussions in Portland & throughout the PNW.
To request a talk back facilitator or inquire about our pricing,
please write to: email@example.com.

UPCOMING TALK BACKS:
WE ARE HONORED TO FACILITATE TALK BACKS AFTER THE EVENING PERFORMANCES ON APRIL 21, 22, & 23, 2017 PRESENTATIONS OF "RODNEY KING" - A ONE-MAN SHOW PRESENTED AS A PART OF THE FRONTIER SERIES AT ARTISTS REPERTORY THEATRE.
Created & Performed by: Roger Guenveur Smith
About the play:
Fresh off show tours to Oakland and L.A., Smith unravels the myth of “the first reality TV star” in his riveting one-man performance Rodney King tells the story of a flawed, good-hearted everyman – from his harsh entry into the national spotlight to a lonely death at the bottom of his swimming pool. It’s been 25 years since the media turned the spotlight to Rodney King’s treatment at the hands of four police officers, the subsequent acquittal of the involved police officer that sparked angry riots in L.A. and opened eyes across the world. Now, Smith asks us once again, “Can we all get along?”
Let’s talk about it.
